In fact that promise is found in the sermon on the mount as Christ taught.

"The pure in heart shall see God"(Matthew 5). Imagine having the ability to see beyond this world, beyond this dimension of earth's physical plain? Those that dedicate themselves to God as they dismiss sin will cause and provoke visitation from God that always produces evidence. This evidence will produce a testimony.
